Emergency Rescue in Henan Zhengzhou

Amidst the rainy season, Henan Province grapples with a surge in heavy rains, lightning, and typhoons, leading to frequent catastrophic weather events and geological disasters. Recently, Zhengzhou and Xinxiang experienced unprecedented rainstorms, resulting in disrupted transportation, hampered communications, and widespread shortages of water and power in hospitals and communities. Additionally, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and parts of Jiangsu continue to endure heavy rainfall in the aftermath of the typhoon 'fireworks.'" The urgency of flood prevention and disaster relief cannot be overstated. Rapid restoration of power supply is critical to ensuring the city's smooth operation and maintaining stability in people's lives and livelihoods.

Emergency backup systems must promptly supply power to crucial public facilities, including government emergency headquarters, hospitals, schools, and survivor shelters. With the help of solar generators, power supply vehicles, and outdoor power stations, lighting and organized emergency response are guaranteed. Following assistance in government response and disaster stabilization, the focus shifts to power grid restoration. Reliable and portable power supply is indispensable for effective disaster relief and outdoor professional work.

When extreme rainfall led to severe flooding in Zhengzhou and nearby areas, Jackery Power Stations were donated to the Beijing Blue Sky and Dawn Rescue teams. These stations powered rescue airboats, assault boats, drones, lighting systems, and additional equipment, playing an instrumental role in successful rescue work.

Meanwhile, the Jackery Power Stations were placed in outage-affected communities to charge citizens' mobile phones, power banks, portable lamps, and other devices, offering essential support to meet people’s pressing needs during the outage.

In addition, a quantity of high-capacity outdoor power supplies were donated to the Red Cross Society of Zhongmou County, Henan Province and sent to Zhengzhou overnight for emergency backup, disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction.

In recent years, disaster-prone countries such as Japan and regions of the United States have increasingly relied on outdoor power supplies for government and household emergency preparedness. In 2018, the PRC established the Ministry of Emergency Management to build a well-coordinated emergency rescue system and ensure rational distribution of material reserves. Mobile power supplies, indispensable resources for emergency reserves, contribute significantly to the improvement of emergency management.

As government emergency management advances and safety awareness grows, demand for emergency power rises across enterprises, institutions, factories, and households. This coincides with a shift in the energy production and consumption structure towards green energy that is low carbon, clean, and efficient. Safe, portable, and high-capacity outdoor power supplies are increasingly essential to meet the growing demand.
